the program

A structured path through the body’s wisdom.

The Embodied Healing Program is an 8-week trauma-informed, body-based group experience that helps participants reconnect with awareness, choice, regulation, and self-trust.

why this program exists

When insight is not enough, the body needs a way back.

Unresolved trauma can remain present long after the original experience has passed — physically, emotionally, and behaviorally.

For veterans, people in recovery, and trauma survivors, healing often requires more than insight alone. It requires safe, body-centered support that helps the nervous system reconnect with choice, presence, and connection.

“Many of the issues are held in the tissues — and healing begins when the body feels safe enough to speak.”

Unresolved trauma may show up as:

Addiction
— reaching for relief from what cannot be named

Emotional reactivity — responses that feel outsized, uncontrollable

Withdrawal — disconnection from relationships and community

Recurring patterns — returning to what no longer serves

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

An 8-week embodied healing experience.

Seed to Soul Foundation’s Embodied Healing Program is a structured group experience designed to support trauma-informed, body-based healing in community settings.

The program invites participants to explore awareness, sensation, breath, emotion, choice, truth, and connection in a safe and supported environment.

Rather than replacing existing services, the program works alongside them — helping strengthen regulation, presence, self-observation, and compassionate connection.

8 Weeks

A guided progression through embodied healing themes.

Group-Based Support

Participants are supported in a safe, structured community setting.

Partner-Delivered

Programs are offered through trusted community and referral partners.

8-Week Program

Eight themes. One embodied path.

Each session builds progressively while honoring that healing is not always linear. Participants are invited to return to the body with curiosity, compassion, and choice.

Befriending

the Body

Noticing the body as a source of infzormation, not threat. Creating safety within.

Awareness

Observing sensations, emotions, and patterns with curiosity instead of judgment.

Acceptance

Being with what is present without forcing, fixing, or bypassing the experience.

Choice

Recognizing the difference between automatic reaction and conscious response.

Discernment

Listening inwardly and recognizing what supports healing and what does not.

Truth

Naming what is real with honesty, compassion, and embodied understanding.

Truth in Action

Bringing inner awareness into grounded, aligned action.

Flow

Moving forward with greater presence, connection, and trust.

What participants experience

Healing that is practiced, not just understood.

The Embodied Healing Program gives participants a safe, structured space to practice awareness, breath, regulation, choice, and connection. The work is gentle, invitational, and designed to meet people where they are.

Somatic Awareness

Participants are guided to notice body sensations, breath, posture, impulses, and patterns with curiosity and care.

Breath & Presence

Gentle practices support grounding, nervous system regulation, and the capacity to remain present.

Emotional Regulation

Participants explore ways to recognize activation and reconnect with choice, safety, and support.

Community Connection

The group setting offers a structured space where participants can feel seen, supported, and less alone.

a complement to care

Not a replacement - a bridge

The Embodied Healing Program is not medical treatment, therapy, crisis intervention, or a replacement for clinical care.

It is a trauma-informed, body-based support experience designed to complement existing services by helping participants build awareness, regulation, self-trust, and connection.

For many participants, this work becomes a bridge between what they understand intellectually and what they are able to experience, practice, and integrate in the body.
